Hi, I'm Nick. I modernize the systems your business can't afford to switch off.
Freelance .NET developer and Azure integration specialist in the Netherlands. I work
on project basis: I join your team, ship the project, and hand it over documented.
In production at 40+ organizations since 2012.
I'm a freelance Microsoft full-stack developer with more than fifteen years of
professional experience, and my projects have covered the full range: BizTalk
orchestrations and WebForms portals on one end, .NET Core, Kubernetes and Azure
Functions on the other. Dutch enterprises run on both, which is exactly where I
come in: project-based engagements from a few months to four years, inside your
Agile or Scrum team.
Integration & messagingBizTalk-to-Azure migrations, API Management gateways, Service Bus event flows. The plumbing between your systems and everyone else's.
Full-stack .NETAngular frontends on .NET Core APIs, WebForms rewrites, mobile apps taken through the stores. One developer, accountable end to end.
Data & ML that shipsRecommendation engines and document processing that made it into production, including millisecond responses under thousands of concurrent users.
The constant across all of it: systems that carry the business, modernized
without stopping it. Phased cutovers, backward-compatible endpoints, and
documentation your next developer can work from.

Currently on assignment at Aon.
Since March 2026 I've been working on Aon's enterprise integrations: BizTalk
Server, Azure API Management, and the step-by-step move toward Azure-native
services. That fills most of my calendar, so I keep room for exactly one side
project at a time, when the fit is right.

Tell me what you're staring at: a BizTalk estate that needs to become Logic Apps,
a WebForms portal from another era, an integration that breaks more often than it
runs. You'll hear back within one business day, and if I'm not the right fit,
I'll tell you straight.
